Crisp & Spicy 93

Went to Portland last weekend. We stayed with Jeff & Natalie who recently moved into a bigger, better, cooler house. They also got a new puppy while we were there, so the weekend revolved around dogs and BBQ...

BBQ'd as soon as we got there. There's a window that overlooks the yard from the kitchen -handy for barbecuing!

Finch and Timber get along really well. They played a lot the first night, which gave Timber a bum leg the rest of the weekend.

Finch is like a mini version of Timber - they have the same color coat, curly tail and dark ears and snout.

 
The next day, Melissa and I took Finch to a pug meet up. While we were gone, Jeff & Natalie got a new puppy - Maurice. Here's Natalie bringing him home for the first time.

Here's a shot of their backyard during the day. It's really big and tree lined.

That night, Stevie and Monica came over with their dog, Ollie.  We had a 4 dog night.

Sunday, we went to Sauvie Island before going home.

This place is amazing...

Water on the left, farm lands on the right. It's only 15 or 20 minutes from the city too.

Stopped at a farm/market called Kruger farms. Here's the inside of the market. There was fruit & vegetables, not just baskets.

There was also a big cyclocross race going on around the corn fields. If you haven't seen it, it's basically a road bike with bigger tires that they race off-road.

He passed out and slept the whole way back to Seattle.

It's really hard to read, but I went to a laundromat called "Transformation Surprise!"
